Bygging manufactures hydraulic jacks for tank erection since the last 33 years. Jacks with individual lift capacities of 12 ton, 18 ton and 25 ton are manufactured.
Bygging manufactures single acting and double acting jacks for tank lifting. The difference in these two jack types is the time required to lift up a tank by 2.5 meters.
The time for lifting tank upto 2.5 meters height is as follows:
- Using double action jacks - 40 minutes
- Using single action jacks - 3-4 hours
- Double Acting Jacks work 5 times faster than Single Acting Jacks

To address this concern, Bygging manufactures jacks with "lifting hooks", which eliminate temporary welding of lifting cleats to tank shell. Jacks with lifting hooks are available for 12 ton and 18 ton jacks.
